Old School Noobs - Mischief

I have now successfully made 4 sets of the armor.

Sometime in the near future I will attempt to put together a group and make the final quest run

Last night I was able to make 2 coldain lvl 7 shawls for myself and Mnemo.

For those of you that are interested in this I have managed to finally exceed 95% of the trivials required to get the 7nth Coldain shawl.
With the exception of 1 combine that has a trivial of 208. (this combine is 2 wolf whiskers 2 siren hairs and a giant beard easy enough to get again if I fail, I'm currently around 83% to succeed and slowly grinding my tailoring up (179 right now)
I'm currently working on skilling up smithing for the 8th shawl and hope to advance into this soon.

I'm happy to do your combines its up to you to gather the needed materials.
So here is the shopping list.
The Great Divide:
2 Drakkel Wolf Whiskers drop from A Drakkel Dire Wolf (Note: the highest concentration of these wolves is near the Nexus Scion. Only took me 30 minutes to get my two. get 4 if you can this is part of the only combine that is not trial yet.)
5 Glowing Worm Bile: It only drops of off elder and young shardwurms. They are spread out, but two or three will be in the tunnels. They will have a tell-tale glow about them. you can notice it on the ground. These will ALWAYS drop the bile.

Eastern Wastes (Bring a tracker);
8 Snow Griffin Eggs (these drop in BOTH EW zones. Get 8, put 4 in the bank.
4 Frost Giant Toes
10 Kromrif Heads
1 Tundra Kodiak Meat
2 Frost Bunny Meat (In shawl #3, it says Snow Bunny Meat. This is incorrect, it is Frost Bunny Meat.)
2 Ulthork Meat got mine near the prison.
1 Woven Frost Giant Beard
1 Ulthork Tusk not needed if I'm doing the combine
2 Manticore Manes

Western Wastes: (Bring a tracker)
8 Velium Hound Furs: this is where you want a tracker. They have a large aggro range, but are widespread.

Cobalt Scar:
2 Siren Hair ( I farmed in SG for hours did not see one. Kill the siren's infront of the zone in to Siren's Grotto a few times. I got both mine in one spawn.)

Siren's Grotto: Maze City
2 Runed Sea Shells (These MUST have the Enduring Breath effect on them with one charge.)
1 Swordfish Tooth - not needed if I am doing combine
1 Molkor Hide  - not needed if I am doing combine

Kael Drakkel:
1 Royal Kromrif blood Drops off both Klaggan Iceshard and Vorken Iceshard.
Due to our server loot system i had the best luck getting this off named in lower dogs in Velks

Iceclad Ocean:
3 Iceclad Cutlassfish (Fishing! Have fun, bring beer.)

Same theme as my last post.
This time it's all about Baking and what's easily attainable in the Pre-PoP era.
1-135 head to East FreePort you will be making Fish rolls which are fresh fish and Bat wings both are purchasable super cheap. cost to 135 probably less than 15 plat.

136-191 Patty melts. Lion meat and loaf of bread  can be bought in unlimited quantities in Thurgadin at Mordin's meats. Cheese can also be bought in unlimited quantities at the chef
                                in Jaggedpine forest.

So being on a progression server has its advantages and disadvantages. The big one being that many of the trade skill guides assume we are several expansions in so it can de difficult to decipher a clear path to trade skill glory. Several folks know I've been working thru the Coldain lines for rings and shawls which require a mastery of all trade skills.
In this post I wanted specifically to talk about tailoring and the best way to "currently" level it up. To be clear by best I am really also saying the easiest way to acquire the materials needed.
Please understand this will all change when PoP gets released.

0-66 Woven mandrake.....mandrake can be purchased cheap.
67-76 picnic baskets using the woven mandrake you just made in step 1...save the baskets if you plan to make misty thicket picnics later otherwise vendor them.
77-95 greyhopper hides drop in huge abundance in Marus Seru. usually folks let them rot otherwise offer 1 plat per for them usually I got stacks in 30 min. make boots
96-118 most of us spent a lot of time in Velks crystalline silk is the key...make shoulder pads till 118.
119-124 crystalline silk sleeves.
125-131 crystalline silk shirt.
after this it gets much Harder till PoP. there are 2 ways to go leather which means flawless and superb rockhoper hides to make acyrlia armor to 188 Hunting these hides in Mons letalis/Scarlet desert
or
Silk path making Wu's fighting mantle till 158. silk is far easier to get but you need vials of viscous mana meaning you need to make vials and find an enchanter to waste hours summoning them and also have to make heady kiola.

If you know a better path let me know. I freely admit I could be overlooking an easier path

Ventril Sathirs remains (VSR) will pop 12-24 hours after he is killed so whenever we schedule this, we should plan on returning to the scene the next day for the Ranger Epics drop.
